Chill Time

Yesterday, my classmate Yi Yang appeared in a The New Paper article! Haha. He went to represent Singapore in a Microsoft Office competition. He managed to get 2nd place! That's so cool. The winner was also from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, so our school managed to get a 1-2 victory in the competition.

I'm having a slight headache now. I think I caught the flu. It all started yesterday when Yi Fan and I meet our teacher to talk about the FYP overloading thing. He started to get long winded talking about so many things that were related to our questions but weren't really that important. It was during then I started to get a headache. Myabe it was his monotonous voice or something that triggered the flu. Haha. When I went home I had a slight fever but after talking to my super lovable girlfriend last night, I felt all better. Haha. But when I woke up this morning it was back but not as bad as yesterday.

Right now I'm in my Audio Video class supposed to be doing our assignment but everyone's slacking off so right I'm going with the flow and chilling out. Haha.

Online Gaming

I was surfing AllRPG and I came across this article about the latest Windows XP Service Pack. Apparently it affects certain online mutiplayer games. You can check out the list here.

Sorting Crap

Well, here I am blogging in the school's lab. Actually I've ended already but I need to see my teacher later because of my Final Year Project(FYP). As of right now it seems that I won't be able to take my FYP because I am re-taking one of my modules, Object-Oriented Programming. Which means that I'll have to take FYP next semester and graduate 6 months later. SO I may have to overload FYP this semester. I've got another friend in the same situation as me and later we're going to meet the teacher together and sort this crappy mess out.

I was hoping to go home early today because I only had one hour of lesson but because of this mess that isn't the case anymore. I hope I don't have to graduate late, but I'm a bit afraid of doing the FYP. Afraid that I won't be able to do the project properly because I don't know how to do much of the stuff. I don't even know how I managed to get so far in my coure! Hahaha. And I've got a classmate who feels exactly the same way! At least it helps having someone in the same boat as you. Haha.

But hey, I felt the same way when I was going for my attachment and everything turned out alright, so hopefully this one will out the same way too. =)

After this I'm going back the shop near my secondary school to check out if they have anymore stock of the latest Winning Eleven 8 football game. Then I need to go to Junction 8 to help my mother buy a book. So there's still lots of stuff to do.

Later!

5 Hours Past 12

Well, it's 5 am now and I have to get up at around 9 something because I have band practice at 11am. So early ah.. And it's all because the choir needs to use the venue to catch up with the practices that they missed. Last week we had to start practice earlier too because of them but they didn't turn up. So we came early for nothing.

It's really crappy that because of other's people's matters that our band is affected. I don't even know if I'm going to wake up in time. Haha. Right now I'm having a sleep over at my friend's place. Playing Playstation the whole night through.

Well, I can't really think of anything else interesting to blog. I just started this entry because I just felt like updating. Haha. Besides, I'm feeling hungry.

Yesterday And Today

Yahoo! My common tests ended yesterday. I think I did quite alright for both tests, Object-Oriented Programming and Systems Security. I just hope I don't feel any. After the test I decided to go and play pool at the last minute because I hadn't played pool in a long long time. I was quite glad to play alone. The bad thing is, now I have a backache from playing 3 hours of pool. Haha. When you play alone, it's your turn everytime and imagine having to bend forward everytime you take shot. Ouch. I tried cue differently this time and I kept missing but after a while I got used to it.

When I came home today, my cute dog Rainbow was feeling unwell. He vomited many times and I guess it's because of something he ate. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to take him to the vet and find out what's going wrong. He looks so pitiful now as he's sleeping.

I'm staying up for the Man Utd match later on tv and I hope I don't fall asleep again on the sofa before then. I fell asleep there last night and I woke up with a headache, a pain in my shoulder and a bigger backache. Alrighty, I'll sign off here and get some food. Feeling hungry.

The Passenger In The Seat

Normally I don't post like to post lyrics on my blog because no need one's going to bother to really read them when you can just listen to the song. Most of the lyrics that are put up are popular songs anyway, so most people already know it. However, I found a song that was so nice I had to put it up. The lyrics are so nice and simple, yet tells a story that's so meaningful.

Passenger Seat
by Stephen Speaks

I look at her and have to smile
As we go driving for a while
her hair blowing in the open window of my car
and as we go the traffic lights,
watch them glimmer in her eyes
In the darkness of the evening

And I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me

We stop to get something to drink
my mind pounds and I can't think
scared to death to say I love her
then the moon peeks from the clouds
I hear my heart that beats so loud
try to tell her simply...

That I've got all the I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me

And I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat

Try to get the song and listen to it. I have the accoustic version and I like the simple and clean feel to the song. The only criticism I have about that song is that the story has no ending. Still, I like the way how the songwriter expresses his feelings by saying how the passenger seat has become so meaningful, all because of the person that's seated there. That's quite a nice way of saying how much a person means to you.

I've always said that when going to watch a movie, the person you're going to watch it with is much more important than the movie itself. If the person is important to you, the activity becomes insignificant compared to the time you spend together. And that's what people important to us do. They bring meaning to certain things and affect us in ways other people can't. Like the Hoobastank song. They bring meaning to our lives and become the reason how we can go on living in this messed up world. And when people like that gone, you feel a certain sense of loss that can't be replaced no matter what.

It's precisely how people bring meaning into our lives that we cannot live without them. Everybody needs someone. Friends, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, siblings, boyfriends, girlfriends. Other people bring meaning to our lives, and without them our lives would be empty and meaningless. Sort of like having a nice, big house and swimming pool, but without anyone to enjoy it with.

It kind of makes you think, who are the people that bring meanining to your life?

Where's The Moon?

I was reading Joe's blog earlier and he had this post about this guy who says, "There is no moon!" Haha. Yeah, that's right, apparently the moon is just all just a hoax. It's a conspiracy! But don't we see it every night? Hasn't man been on the moon? Well, here's some of what he writes.

1) But I can see the moon.
- But think about it – without the help of so-called "experts", how do you really know what you’re looking at? It could be a hologram, projected from various government installations throughout the world. It could be a large, crudely painted balloon, held in place by helium and propelled by tiny sails and rudders (which is why it moves across the sky so slowly). Or, most likely, it could have been different things at different times and different places, depending on the technology available to the conspirators and the culture and beliefs of the population being deceived.

2) But who could or would perpetrate such a hoax?
- First of all, the various secret societies and religious orders to which the scientists responsible for propagating the moon hoax have belonged from the beginning. One can easily trace the history of this deception through the Templars, the Rosicrucians, the Illuminati and the Masons, by way of the various scientists – from Ptolmy to Copernicus to Newton – whose "observations" have been vital toward putting a scholarly veneer to the moon myth. To this day, universities and government agencies such as NASA are full of "scientists" of this kind.

However, responsibility cannot go solely to academic scientists who initiated the hoax, nor to the organizations to which they belong which have sought to use this deception in their struggle for world domination.

3) But don’t the astronauts who claim to have walked on the moon count as eyewitnesses?
- And just how much money did each of these men receive, on record, for their services? And this doesn’t count the unaccounted millions that have probably bought their continued silence since.

4) And what about the "moon rocks" that these astronauts brought back with them?
- We are expected to merely take this on faith, assuming that NASA would never lie to us, even with billions of dollars at stake. And why is access to these artifacts restricted only to personnel approved by this criminal NASA organization? Why haven’t revisionists been permitted to examine these artifacts for themselves? Because if NASA permitted unbiased researchers access to these objects, the fraud would be exposed immediately.

5) About the tides being affected by the moon.
- The tide myth is one of the oldest and most absurd lies that the Lunar establishment has tried to push on a gullible world. Do they really expect us to believe that the moon - an object that allegedly resides at an average distance of 240,000 miles from the earth - has the power, from that distance, to lift how many billions of cubic meters of water?

Do an experiment: take a rubber ball and suspend it above a bathtub full of water. Now slowly move the ball closer to the water. Does the level of the water change? Not even slightly. So much for the tides myth.

(Source: The Mad Revisionist)

Well, after reading most of what he wrote, I've come to my own conclusion. It's all crap. Total nonsense. The writer is just being paranoid and thinking that there's a consipiracy theory for everything. He refuses to believe something that is obviously right in front of him. People like this merely filter out the truths that they don't want and choose to believe in whatever they want.

First he denies the most obvious evidence that the moon exists. It's right there in front of him. But's all hoax and it could be a hologram set up by the governments of the world.

Then he rejects the testimony and credibility of eyewitnesses, astronauts and scientists by saying they were bought.

He then says that the evidence that was brought back was fake and that this whole thing is a conspiracy for world domination.

In short, he's rejecting everything that points to the truth by coming up with an explanation that is quite incredible. World domination. Sure, that might be true, but I don't get how faking the moon exists will lead to world domination.

If you look at it that way, how do you know that the computer in front of you right now even exists. What if, it's not really there? What if, what if it's all an .. Illusion? Your brain might have been connected to a computer at birth and everything around you is just a virtual simulation made by an secret organization bent on world domination using your body as an experimental energy source for their television because the earth's entire resources were wiped out by aliens who got pissed by the bad singing on Singapore Idol.

Yeah right.

So then, by refusing everything that points to the truth and truth itself, who can then decide what is the truth? Of course the person himself. Then whatever the person decides becomes the "truth". Do you call that truth? Something put together by someone as they want it?

And the explanation about the tides was quite funny if you ask me. Comparing a rubber ball to the size of the moon and expecting it to move a tub of water. Anything that has mass causes a curvature in space-time which results in gravity; the reason why objects with bigger mass have the ability to pull smaller mass objects towards them. It's also been proven in experiments that 2 balls (one with a bigger mass than the other), when put close enough to each other, do get pull together by gravity. (Don't get the wrong idea about the 2 balls.) It's just that the distance is very very very very very very very very very small and minute. But then again, the scientists who did the experiments were paid by the secret organization seeking world domination, so forget it.

But the funniest part is this:
"A cash reward of $100,000 has been offered to anyone who can send us, by e-mail, conclusive physical evidence of the existence of the moon. This reward remains unclaimed."

They want conclusive, PHYSICAL evidence of the existence of the moon. Sure. But I have to send it by e-mail?! How do you send physical objects through e-mail? No wonder the reward remains unclaimed. LoL~

So after everything, does the moon exist? I don't know about you, but to me it sure does.

Sing Your Heart Out

I was watching tv earlier on at 8pm and Singapore Idol was up. To tell the truth, whoever becomes Singapore Idol doesn't really matter that much to me, because either way, I'd just end up downloading their music. The real reason I watch SG Idol is just to be entertained. And it sure has been entertaining!

There was a lot bad singing but what surprised me was how much there was. It just goes to show the lack of talent here, something even one the judges, Ken Lim, has mentioned before. Even the good ones that got through to the top 30 weren't all that good. They could sing, but their voices lacked that extra kick that makes the difference between an ordinary singer and a music star. No one had that star quality that made them stand out too. With the lack of these 2 elements, there's no reason for me to go and buy their cd if it was released. But then again I might be wrong now, so let's just wait and see.

A lot of dumb things have happened on the show as well, but the dumbest thing I've heard on isn't the singing. It was,

"WOO HOO! I'M GOING TO CALDECOTT!"
*contestant jumps up and down like crazy*

That's the dumbest thing I've heard. First of all, anyone can go to Caldecott. Even my dog can go to Caldecott. From my place I just take one bus and I'm there in 25 minutes. No big deal. You might as well be shouting,

"WOO HOO!! I'M GOING TO THE COFFESHOP DOWNSTAIRS!!!"

Come on, at least saying something like, "I'm through to the next round!", would be much more intelligent. At least in American Idol I can understand their joy at going to Hollywood because of these reasons.

AMI - Hollywood is the glamourous capital of showbusiness.
SGI - Caldecott is the .. is the.. uh.. forget it.

AMI - For those who don't live there, they get to travel to a far place they haven't been too.
SGI - Anyone can travel down to Caldecott by taking bus.

I think you can get what I mean now. Still, SG Idol is entertaining me, so I don't have much more complaints. What's more, there was this girl that I thought was kinda cute. Not really pretty or stunning. Just a bit cute. LoL~

Stuffed

It's my study break this week and it's glad to have a break for a change. I didn't manage to get my usual after-semester holiday because of my attachment, so I'm enjoying this break. It's supposed to be used for studying, but I've got 2 tests and there's still some days left, so I think it's alright.

We had a class chalet on Monday. It was to last until Wednesday, but I only stayed until Tuesday. I brought my PS2 so we could play Winning Eleven 7, the best football game ever! Haha. We had a small mini-tournament of 7 people. It was fun, even though I didn't win. It was like a real match, we all cheered when someone scored and groaned when chances were missed. I picked Holland, but my friend who choose Italy won in the end.

Earlier today(Wednesday), I went to eat the sushi buffet at Sakae Sushi with my super lovable girlfriend and Aaron. And I sure ate a lot! Not much really, only 14 plates which doesn't even come close to my personal record of 18 plates and the 20 plates Aaron ate. Hahaha. And I'm looking forward to my next visit again! The variety and quality of sushi they have at Sakae Sushi is the, if not, one of the best here in Singapore. I've tried Edo Sushi before and all I can say is, it's way much better at Sakae Sushi.

So go and try the sushi buffet at Sakae Sushi! It's only $14 ++ (GST and 10% service charge) for students. Eat and be filled!

Silly Love Songs

YEAH! I just finished my troublesome Internet Computing (IC) assignment. Phew. Now I can breathe much easier. I still have to go to school later to hand it up though. This week is my school's study break, but we all only have 2 tests, so relatively there's still quite some time left. Since there's time left, we're going to have a class chalet from today until Wednesday! YEAH! Our class chalets are pretty fun; I always like seeing them get semi drunk and turn red after which, they just sit there and stone. Haha.

Today my lovable girlfriend and her family went to eat at Cafe Cartel to celebrate her birthday although it was 6 days late. My order came very late, more than half an hour. I think it's because they forgot about it! Only after a reminder then did they bring it. By the time it came, everyone else had finished their food. I ate quite fast without noticing and everyone was surprised because they were all talking and the next thing they knew, I had almost finished my food. Haha. Yum.

I've been listening to Paul McCartney because my friend recommended me to listen to his music as well as the Beatles. He said that if you study Paul McCartney's music you'll find out that it's really good. He plays the bass differently. So I've borrowed a couple of cds from the library, listened to some of the songs, and he's right! The bass lines are really catchy and have good melody. Right now I'm listening to the song, Silly Love Songs and it's a cute song.

Here's an excerpt:

Silly Love Songs

You think that people would have had enough Of
Silly love songs
But I look around me and I see it isn't so
Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?
I'd like to know.

And it's true, there's so many silly love songs. Love has to be the number theme among all the songs out there in the world and yet no one ever gets tired of them. I think it's because people never ever will get tired of love and no matter what anyone says, deep down, everyone wants to love and be loved.

Nokia 5140

Finally an entry after a long time. I haven't been blogging because there hasn't been anything interesting to blog about and I've trying to complete my Internet Computing assignment which is so troublesome.

What's so hard about this assignment isn't the level of difficulty, it's just that we haven't been taught what to do! They didn't really teach us how to code in XML and yet expect us to complete an assignment. It doesn't help that the teacher himself is clueless when we ask him questions. Anyway, sometimes things have a way of working themselves out, as I say, and I managed to complete most of the assignment already.

Talking about assigments, I was doing research for another assigment and I've finally a phone good enough to replace my current 3310. For me, I won't change my phone if I'm content with it unless I really really have to. I'm content with my 3310 now, but it's going to get obselete and useless soon, so I've got to find a replacement. So here it is!

It's the Nokia 5140!

The problem is, it isn't out yet and it's only going be available in the USA first. Maybe I'll ask my parents to get it for me when they move there next year. Haha. It's a really cool phone. Just look at some of it's functions.

(Source: Nokia 5140 Phone)

It's a camera and video phone, has a built in flashlight, with GPRS, radio, compass, radio, thermometer, countown timer, stopwatch and even a decibel meter! And the buttons are big enough for quick smsing! Most of the phone nowdays are small and nice, but the buttons are way to small for sending text messages quick. So this phone is exactly what I need! I think it's going be quite a hit, so if it does, remember you heard here first. Haha.

Alright, time to finish up my troublesome assignment. Later!

Love And Commitment I

I was reading Eunice's blog some time ago and she had one entry where she talked about love and commitment in a relationship, how they work and are related to each other. I agree with her that love and commitment are essential to any relationship. Take away either one and it won't work. Then came the question as to which one was more important, love or commitment?

I feel that love and commitment are essential in a relationship, but love is much greater than commitment.

Commitment is will only work if there's a reason, and this case it's love. Love will always be the center of a relationship and what keeps it going. A special and unique bond between 2 people. It is because of this bond that people get into a relationship in the first place. The reason that love is much more important than commitment is that love exists by itself while commitment doesn't.

In other words, commitment needs a reason to exist, but love does not. Commitment without a reason is just plain stupid if you ask me. It's like doing something for no purpose at all. It's just meaningless. You won't go out if you don't have somewhere to go and you won't scratch your balls if it isn't itchy. Likewise, you cannot commit without love and doing so just doesn't make any sense at all.

The strange and funny thing about Love however, is that sometimes Love just happens and appears without any reason at all. You just can't explain it. It something that people from the beginning of time, have been seeking to find the answer to. It's like how sometimes people can fall in love with someone else and when you ask them why they did, they just shrug their shoulders and reply sheepishly with a smile, “I don't know. I just did." That's the special thing about love. You don't need a reason.

And it is this reason that compels 2 people into a relationship of love and holds it together with commitment. You can say that commitment is the result of love and a relationship put together. For it is because we love, therefore we commit, not the other way around.

If the love in a relationship is strong enough, likewise the commitment will be strong enough and overcome the problems and difficulties that come. That's why the song, "Come What May" is so meaningful. A song about how love overcomes all.

Some relationships break up and they blame the lack of commitment as the reason. The real reason however is that the love between both parties has faded away and they longer feel the need or motivation to keep the commitment they have to each other. When the reason of the relationship is gone, it's hard to continue the relationship. When that happens, there are only 2 ways a relationship can go. Rediscover the lost love between both sides, or, end the relationship.

So, you might ask,

Why do so many couples still breakup even though both sides are in love and committed to the relationship?

Love And Commitment II

Why do so many couples still breakup even though both sides are in love and committed to the relationship?
<--Back

The thing is, relationships have to be constantly worked on. It's simple, if you go to a party and meet someone for the first time, do you expect to become buddies right away? Definitely not. And if you don't see each other again after the party, that isn't going to change anything. If you want to become better friends or take your friendship to another level, you've got to do something. You've got to work on the relationship between the both of you.

It's the same in a love relationship. If you've been together for only a week, don't expect your love to have the same strength as couple that's been together for 3 years. Although at first it might seem that you both love each other so much and are willing to die for each other, it's just from the high of being in love, only time can tell how strong a relationship is.

Once the relationship starts, you've got to work on it. Love is the center of a relationship and how it develops determines how the relationship develops too. How can you say you love somebody if you barely know them? That's the reason why couples go on dates and spend time with each other. The more time you spend with someone, the better you get to know them and the real person inside, and the more you can fall in love with him or her.

One of the reasons why couples break up is because they fail or aren't able to work on the relationship and so it just fades away. If you aren't able to spend time with one another and just leave the relationship right where it is, it will die. Just like the way your Tamagochi will die if you don't feed it. That's the reason why long distance relationships are so hard to maintain. It takes a strong relationship to keep a long distance relationship going.

At other times a relationship might fail because only one person is working on the relationship or they aren't working on the relationship together. When that happens, both sides tend to have disagreements and arguments all the time because they have different ideas as to the level of commitment they have to give to the relationship and how the relationship should go. A relationship is a 2 way thing and must be worked on together. A car can't go straight if one wheel turns left and the other turns right. (Here's a tip: An essential key on working a relationship is Communication.)

A relationship doesn't go "happily ever after" after a couple decides to start one. It's only after that the journey begins.

So then, some might ask,

If relationships are so complicated, what's the whole purpose of it?

Love And Commitment III

If relationships are so complicated, what's the whole purpose of it?
<--Back

To put it simply, getting in a relationship is to see whether that person is indeed the special someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with. And if that person isn't, it's a chance to learn about being in a committed relationship and prepare you for the time when you're meant to be with that special someone.

When you get into a relationship, you've taken the relationship to another level. As the relationship grows with work and commitment, so does love. And after that long journey, when both of you come to the conclusion that you truly love the person and he or she truly loves you, the relationship can taken to the next level, a commitment to spend the rest of your lives together. Then another journey begins. (But that's another story for another day and considering everyone who reads this, it really doesn't apply to us. Yet.)

Of course that doesn't mean that your first boyfriend/girlfriend is going to your be partner for the rest of your life, because only one of your relationships is going to reach the last level. Most of the time people have to go through a few before finding right one. So what's the point of going through all those failed relationships then? Those failed relationships are valuable lessons to learn from the mistakes and make the next relationship a better one. There's a saying, "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" and though those failed relationships can hurt really really really really bad, you come out of them stronger and that will make your next relationship stronger as well.

What I say doesn't apply to those who play around of course. If you play around, expect to get played too, which I feel doesn't amount to anything. I don't know if you believe that for everyone of us there's a special person or that there many potential partners out there for everyone. To tell the truth, I don't know myself, but I feel that every relationship that you have should be treated seriously. When things such as feelings are involved, one should be kidding around because whatever happens could hurt that person deeply and maybe for the rest of their life.

You're right when you say that relationships are complicated. People are complicated. Love is complicated. And when you put these 2 complicated matters together, the result isn't going be a simple one like 1 + 1 = 2. Everyone deals it with in their own way.

Well, that's my perspective on this matter and my brain's feeling sucked dry from all these thinking so I'll just end here.

Spare Time

Oh man, I just wasted an hour of sleep! I thought my class was 9am today and I woke up at 0745, only to realise my class was at 10. Crappers. I've got nothing to do for the time being now so that's why I'm blogging instead.

Yesterday I continued my cycling routine and this time I went 20 rounds in 53 minutes! Haha. Afterwards my legs felt like they were going to burst anytime. I discovered that I've been riding the uphill wrongly. I always remained in my seat whenever I went up and it was really tough. Now I know the proper way when going uphill is to stand up and pedal. That way my bodyweight helps me push down the pedals and turn the wheels. My bicyle seems ready to break down at any moment now. The chains are a bit rusty and the gear doesn't change easily so right now it's stuck in the hardest gear, which I don't mind because I can ride faster. And after the 20 rounds, it started making squeaking sounds as well. Guess I have to send it for repairs. But I'm feeling lazy, so I don't know when that's going to happen. LoL~

Anyway, it's more or less time to go for class now. I can't be absent from this class anymore or I'll get debarred and fail it! It's a stupid module called business communication. But then again, we have to do all sorts of stupid and troublesome things in life to get by.

23.1 Million Pounds!

Wohoo! Patrick Viera is moving to Real Madrid! Haha. I don't mind Real Madrid becoming stronger just as long as Arsenal get weaker. It's not that I don't think Man Utd can't beat Arsenal, cause Man Utd can beat them anyday, but anything that brings down Arsenal is good news to me. Haha.

Last Sunday I left my food on the counter at the food court while I was ordering my food. I only realised I had left it behind after I finished eating. It was a good thing when I went back, I managed to get my phone. Phew.

I was just thinking about that incident yesterday and I realized that my handphone has best safety mechanism in the world! Even if I leave in the food court, it still won't get stolen. My handphone prevents itself from being stolen. Really, it does! Here, I'll show you why. My handphone is the...

It's the....

That's right! It's the legendary Nokia 3310! It's still one of the best phones around in my opinion. It's durable, has buttons big enough to make sending text message easy and fast and if you drop it 200 times it still works! It isn't obselete because picture phones haven't become a neccessity yet. And the best thing is that no one will steal it because they all think it's a stupid old phone.

So I will keep my nice blue Nokia 3310 for as long as I can. =)

Sleeptalking

I think I really need to sleep more nowadays. Today in my Internet Computing class, my teacher was talking about what we needed to do for our assignment. It was getting boring as usual and I closed my eyes because I couldn't keep them open anymore. When I woke up later, the lesson was over and the teacher had already left the classroom! The funny thing was, I vaguely remembered speaking to my teacher while I was sleeping and my eyes were closed. It was like I was sleeping talking or something. I couldn't really remember the exact words, but it went something like this -

Teacher:"mumble.. mumble.. you very tired today ah?"

Me: (Eyes closed, without turning in his direction) "Yah teacher, I today very tired ah. ZzZzz..." (continue sleeping)

And then the next time I opened my eyes, the lesson was over! I totally fell asleep in front of my teacher's face! Haha. I feel a bit bad for doing that, but hey, I couldn't help it. Well, the good thing was that I didn't drool while I was asleep. LoL~

I decided to cycle 10 rounds around the entire carpark of my estate earlier on at around 11:30pm. My family rents a condominium, so the carpark here is much bigger. Each round is around 500m and the challenging about it is that there are uphills and downhills. The uphills are kinda tough and it's quite challenging to try to go up the slopes as quick as you can.

After the 10 rounds, I felt great! My thighs right now are feeling the strain, but that's a good sign. So from now on, cycling will be my main excercise during the weekdays if I don't have football.

The only bad thing about cycling is that your butt will hurt afterwards. Haha.

Wet And Rainy

There hasn't been really anything to blog nowadays. Just the normal stuff going on. I'm feeling too tired to think of anything interesting to write too. I know I don't lack sleep, but I'm feeling sleepy all the time now.

Anyway, our team's 2nd training was on Sunday and there were a lot of people. It was really fun to be kicking a ball again though. I was just glad to be there, running and playing football. The only bad thing was that it had rained a few hours before and the field was really muddy and slippery, which is really irritating because when you try to turn with the ball or sprint, the ground gives way and you lose traction. And also, your underwear gets really wet and brown, so that's why I always bring extra underwear to training. So then when it rains, I can laugh at those who didn't. Hahaha.

During the 2 side game, there was even this one time when I was dribbling with the ball and slipped. And of all places I had to fall on the mud patch. I got totally drenched with mud! I still managed to regain control of the ball and continued running with one eye closed because of the mud. After that I had to immediately go wash the mud off because it was really irritating.

My auntie's family might be coming on August 9 to Singapore, so if they do come, they'll be staying at our place. And whenever guests come to stay at our place, they always use my room. I don't really mind letting them use my room because I kinda like sleeping in the living room. It gets a bit spooky at night but other than that it's quite comfortable. I've fallen asleep in the living room so many times beacuse I'm so comfortable with the idea of sleeping in the living room alone.

Alright, I'm starting to feel light headed so I guess it's time to end this entry and go to sleep! Nitey everyone!
