Silly Love Songs

YEAH! I just finished my troublesome Internet Computing (IC) assignment. Phew. Now I can breathe much easier. I still have to go to school later to hand it up though. This week is my school's study break, but we all only have 2 tests, so relatively there's still quite some time left. Since there's time left, we're going to have a class chalet from today until Wednesday! YEAH! Our class chalets are pretty fun; I always like seeing them get semi drunk and turn red after which, they just sit there and stone. Haha.

Today my lovable girlfriend and her family went to eat at Cafe Cartel to celebrate her birthday although it was 6 days late. My order came very late, more than half an hour. I think it's because they forgot about it! Only after a reminder then did they bring it. By the time it came, everyone else had finished their food. I ate quite fast without noticing and everyone was surprised because they were all talking and the next thing they knew, I had almost finished my food. Haha. Yum.

I've been listening to Paul McCartney because my friend recommended me to listen to his music as well as the Beatles. He said that if you study Paul McCartney's music you'll find out that it's really good. He plays the bass differently. So I've borrowed a couple of cds from the library, listened to some of the songs, and he's right! The bass lines are really catchy and have good melody. Right now I'm listening to the song, Silly Love Songs and it's a cute song.

Here's an excerpt:

Silly Love Songs

You think that people would have had enough Of
Silly love songs
But I look around me and I see it isn't so
Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?
I'd like to know.

And it's true, there's so many silly love songs. Love has to be the number theme among all the songs out there in the world and yet no one ever gets tired of them. I think it's because people never ever will get tired of love and no matter what anyone says, deep down, everyone wants to love and be loved.
