Boredom

For some reason, I don't feel like blogging nowadays. I don't know if it's because I can't find anything to blog about or if it's because I'm just feeling a bit bored nowadays.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be going to a job interview for some banquet job that my friend told me to go. According to him, time passes by real fast on the job and they provide transport back as well. Hopefully I'll be able to get it as I'm really feeling quite bored doing nothing.

What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun?

Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.

The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.

The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.

All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full.

To the place the streams come from, there they return again.

All things are wearisome, more than one can say.

The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing.

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"?

It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.

There is no remembrance of men of old, and even those who are yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow.

- Ecclesiastes 1:3-11

I guess that's what I'm feeling nowadays.

Hi,i happened to read your blog,I enjoyed reading most of them, it's very interesting(esp.on the "ON n OFF", it's v.funny). I think you're a very expressive person (in words).. Keep up with your blog:) Don't give up on blogging ok?

I happened to read on Ecclesiastes too last week, that day when i was feeling really down n out. I don't know why God lead me to read this book, but after reading i was inspired to pray to God in my hopeless situation. After praying i had a break through.

May i encourage you to spend sometime to pray to God, tell him your boredom and ask HIM for direction in your life, your career. Trust HIM, HE never fails and thou'your prayers (may) be delayed but it will not never be void. HE is a good good GOD. May you be lifted up in Him.

Hey dude, the devil in me wants to advise that you should enjoy as much as possible. Then again, perhaps some income would be welcomed too. Since you working at banquets, maybe there's still free time to enjoy in the day.

Melissa: Yep. My friend who's already working there told me of his funny experiences and it seems pretty interesting.

Anonymous: Thanks a lot for the encouragement. I really appreciate it. =)

Jayaxe: That's true. Income is always welcome and I need some too. Haha.

Anna: Thanks a lot! :)

I felt like that after reading ecclesiastes too. But remember that the writer of the book did not intend to discourage us.

Check out the conclusion at the end of the book. 12:13-14
